Happy to discuss further. Where might I have missed the exemptions for testing? And yes, homeschooling/unschooling can be neglectful to children if the parents are not proactive. Pulling children from public school is a common sign of escalated child abuse. If that’s not you, then this doesn’t apply

Virginia residents, tell your reps to support SB1031 and keep kids in public school. We must fight the growing unschooling/homeschooling mov’t when it leads to white Christian nationalism, abuse, and an inadequate education. We can’t have a democracy without an educated and empathetic populace.
