The CFPB has abruptly dropped multiple lawsuits against predatory banks and lenders, just weeks after Musk's hostile takeover of the agency.

Remember: gutting financial watchdogs means Trump's billionaire buddies can get even richer ripping you off.

Some helpful advice!
Also, take this from a physiology researcher who almost died from stress-induced adrenal failure:

Most (all?) of us cannot keep up with crush of news right now. We MUST take physical and cognitive breaks to keep functioning long-term

So I guess that's all to say that if you are sharing your grief, joy, fear, etc. on your social media and people are telling you that you shouldn't because there are bigger issues, send it my way instead.

Human communities are built on these "little" things, and we need them now more than ever.

KNOW YOUR RIGHTS.

With mass deportations starting today across the country, it is vitally important - for both citizens and non-citizens - to know your rights.

You have the right to remain silent. Assert it. You have the right to a lawyer. Ask for one.
