#Fieldwork summer 2025 was a very special one. In the #Austrian Alps the good weather periods were very limited and only spontaneous campaigns were possible. Gladly, we were able to capture highly valuable 3D LiDAR data for our new research projects in Austria such as at the #Schesaplana mountain.

Decreasing the #emission "footprint" with low-cost #3D technology: This project work in the 1st semester (!) of the B.Sc. #geography investigated how to reduce emissions by avoiding shopping returns by prior virtual 3D size fitting of shoes!
