#tdih 1850, U.S. Congress passed draconian Fugitive Slave Act which required that people who'd escaped from slavery to anywhere in U.S. be captured & returned. 💔 Punished those who did not comply.

Undoes claim of concern for "states rights."

FAIR’s new study of the New York Times' front-page coverage of trans issues found:

• Trans people were 11% of sources in trans-focused stories, down from 19% in our 2023 study.
• Three of 13 trans-focused stories had no trans sources.

The US lost this ICJ case brought by Iran. The Court found the US violated its Treaty of Amity with Iran and gave the US two years to apologize and pay compensation. That was two years ago.

DOJ is deciding to prosecute discrimination cases [on behalf of white people and/or "Christians" only] by reading the notoriously honest and reliable X, a gathering place for Nazis, white supremacists, and those who constantly nurse paranoid, fake persecution complexes. What a brilliant plan.
If you were wondering how DOJ civil rights investigations get started these days:

Men are extremely keen to explain to me that Britain *needs* a domestic steel production plant and doesn't necessarily *need* universities. Okay. Steel contributed about £1.7bn to the UK economy in 2024. Universities contributed more than £200bn.

For 10 years, that's been rapidly getting worse.

New research: in 2022-2023, there were 1.5 million "missing Americans," who died--but wouldn't have, if America didn't have such uniquely high death rates.
