Fruitful exchange with the Indian Ambassador Saurabh Kumar about the negotiations of a trade agreement between the EU and India and our joint commitment to the WTO. We agreed on the possibility to overcome differences through open dialogue and the need to work together to preserve multilateralism.

A pleasure to discuss closer cooperation with the Indonesian ambassador Andri Hadi after the successful conclusion of the trade agreement between the EU and Indonesia. I will work to ensure that ratification proceeds more quickly than with previous agreements.

Extensive talks proceed in Brazil. ✅Great meeting with Minister of Labour Luiz Marinho as well as Vice President Geraldo Alckmin and Secretary General of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs Maria Laura da Rocha in Brasilia. ✈️Now off to Sãu Paulo!

Wenn es ein Rahmenabkommen 🇪🇺🇺🇸 gibt, müssen #Zölle während der Verhandlungsphase deutlich reduziert werden. Stillhalte-Klausel: Keine weiteren Maßnahmen während Verhandlungen. Abkommen im Einklang mit #WTO-Regeln – zentrale Forderungen des INTA.
