👏Yesterday #EP gave its consent to the Digital Trade Agreement with #Singapore. First of its kind, but I am sure that many more will follow! In the future our trade agreements must keep covering the digital sphere. For now, we will closely monitor the implementation of the agreement.

The #EPP and the far right are jointly undermining the #DueDiligenceRules. A disaster for #HumanRights. Trade at any price - that cannot be the EU's goal! We need social&environmentally sustainable trade relations that benefit everyone worldwide. I will not stop fighting for this!

Fruitful exchange with the Indian Ambassador Saurabh Kumar about the negotiations of a trade agreement between the EU and India and our joint commitment to the WTO. We agreed on the possibility to overcome differences through open dialogue and the need to work together to preserve multilateralism.
