Message to Sens Padilla & Schiff & Rep Simon: I’m really concerned about the ongoing seizures of people off the streets in Los Angeles. LA residents have endured this terror for more than 75 days now, despite a court order for ICE, CPB, etc. to stop. I’m afraid this is being normalized because our ability to push back is so limited. They are invading homes! The police state must be ended, and civil rights restored. done

Dear Representative Simon, So the horrible budget bill goes back to the House now for another vote, and you can help stop it. Thank you for your consistent resolve and messaging against the harms that this budget will do to all of us but especially the most vulnerable. Please do whatever you can to convince Republican reps from our state like Ken Calvert and David Valadao that this budget is bad for their constituents. Please try to peel off a few of them.

Dear Rep. Simon, Thank you for resisting cuts to Medicaid. Thank you for resisting cuts to Medicaid. I appreciate seeing you speak out against the Republican budget, because the loss of Medicaid funding will hurt so many people. Please keep showing people how much harm the Republican budget would do. I hope you can persuade some of your Republican colleagues to vote their consciences, rather than the party line.

Vote NO on any budget resolution that the Speaker brings to the House floor. The Republican budget will shred the social safety net. The Republicans are already shutting down the government, so you must hold the line. Refuse to help them. Do not agree to a terrible budget.
