Reading a book about Trump in English, and I noticed how clear and simple the language is. IT would probably be two-three times longer if it is written in Russian. Could it be that we are so used to censorship that we learned to hide the ideas behind complex syntax? Are there any studies on it?

learning how to put strict boundaries without being mean or infantilizing is so hard. It's even harder to do it to yourself. especially, if you parents were emotionally immature
