Why do the Republicans keep saying their "big beautiful bill" is going to keep undocumented immigrants from getting SNAP, Medicaid, etc? They're not even eligible in the first place!! This is a direct appeal to the base.

Today I visited Manzanar, a Japanese internment camp during WW2. Peaceful setting, interesting museum exhibit; seems like rather relevant history. We should never do this again, but we seem to be headed down that road, demonizing people for their ancestry.
