You can’t beat a National Trust secondhand bookshop when it comes to unearthing gems!
The weekend wasn’t entirely as unexpected or hoped, but probably the best we could do given Mum’s dementia. Despite the cake arriving in a squashed box it is still delicious, and the cream tea hamper was worth the exploding yoghurt pot when I tried to hide the Roddas in the fridge.

Who Do You Think You Are? but for bears so I can find out the origins of this little chap. I don’t remember ever not having him but my parents have no idea where he came from. Did he ever have a nose? Early 1980s.
