If he is right, God doesn't exist and morality is nonsense. But the collary is that civilization also is impossible since eventually it becomes a war of all against all. We need a transcendental moral foundation, love, fear of judgment.

I worked for a long time in a scientific institute. What I saw there was appealing. They cared more about funds and trends than truth. Most "research" is now funded by the capitalists/"elite" and the results are what they want them to be. These days your trust in science is completely misplaced.
