“My fundamental concern with regard to how much voting control I have at Tesla is, if I go ahead and build this enormous robot army, can I just be ousted at some point in the future?... I don't feel comfortable building that robot army unless I have a strong influence.” – Musk, arguing for $1T

This chart—using data from Catalist, in this article by @scottanderson.bsky.social—is a Rosetta Stone for how the presidential map changes over the next decade. We've got to turn WI MI PA blue before 2032—because at that point, they won't be enough to get to 270.

Justice Crawford donning this robe, with help from her loving family, ensures that the Wisconsin Supreme Court will have a pro-democracy majority through at least 2028.

This is a special moment for me personally. My last day as WisDems chair was one month ago. Chief Justice Karofsky, swearing in Justice Crawford, was on the ballot in my first statewide election as chair. Justice Crawford was the final one.

Yesterday, we learned that Elon Musk spent $55 million to defeat her.

Today, we cheered as Judge Susan Crawford took her oath—and became Justice Susan Crawford.

Congratulations!

At a personal level, I learned so much from his example and his leadership, and I’ll be forever grateful for the opportunity to support and partner with him.

Anyone who defeated Scott Walker would’ve instantly become a hero for WI’s working people, its kids, and its families. It has always been gratifying that the person who defeated Walker was a teacher—a profession of everyday heroes that had been targeted by Walker most of all.

Today is my final day at @wisdems.org—my last day as Wisconsin’s Democratic Party chair.

To everyone who has helped us beat the odds, again and again, for the last six years—you have my deep gratitude.🧵

Chair Devin Remiker is ready for this moment. Working with him over the last six years, I’ve seen his remarkable ability to see around corners, and to unify our party for critical fights in moments of crisis.

On Sunday, delegates to the Democratic Party of Wisconsin state convention elected my successor as WisDems chair: Devin Remiker. Here’s why I’m thrilled that Devin will be at the helm starting on July 1. 🧵

It would cost jobs, shutter small businesses, and transfer massive wealth from poor and working-class Americans to the ultra-rich.

Here’s the math, in terms of percent change to income:

Huge picket line outside Meriter Hospital in Madison. Management should listen to the nurses when they say they need safety standards and more staffing on the floor. Safe staffing saves lives!

Proud to be out here with 300+ @seiu.orga nurses and supporters insisting on a contract that will make everyone safer

We should recognize that Musk is still very much on the scene, wreaking havoc and going on international trips with Trump, and could change his mind at any time about political spending.
