Working on another Figma plugin for important metrics in your file. I've done some weird things on design system projects to show value in the past.

Like showing you get 1000s more variations vs variants thanks to properties.

What info do you typically report?

Would auditing checks help?

Have you ever tried to remove margins from content with `:first-child { margin-block-start: 0; } :last-child { margin-block-end: 0; }` only to feel icky, knowing the code is fragile, just waiting for the layout to break with different HTML?

Try `margin-trim` instead.

If you write a lot of CSS, you are familiar with those moments when you aren’t quite sure how to accomplish what you want to accomplish.

😍 PSA: ident() is an upcoming CSS feature I’m incredibly excited about and you're about to be too.

It will allow you to compose CSS variables from other variables, making code like this possible. 😍

Today I applied to the @figma.com creator fund to build something I’ve needed many times maintaining design system accessibility.

Hope they like the idea!

One of my favourite things about the web 🫀
Legos, never changed or updated their shapes, everything from day one still works with stuff in 2024. So nice.

Sound familiar?

Yeah, the web is like that too.

Some great tips for creating content for people who speak English as a foreign language which can probably even help people who speak it as their first language. Plain language ftw!
