Of the various steps involved with the above, I think the one with the least value and most harm are smart phones (yes, like the one I'm using now). Society was better off when the internet was something we go to our computers to log onto rather than a phantasm looming over every moment. 2/2

Black Lives Matter was made possible by the internet allowing info to travel quickly, social media allowing activists to converge and broadcast, digital cameras instantly recording important moments, broadband allowing the sharing of those videos--and smart phones for trying these all together. 1/2

Sounds a lot like when Idaho's voters passed Medicaid expansion by ballot initiative, also in 2018, and the legislature has since been trying to kill it with means-testing. One-party states.
