VGK, Just living my best life on the PNW coast
The problem is neither side wants public discourse. They are both too insecure to want to listen to anyone that doesn't confirm their beliefs.

He is so desperate to get the noble peace award he will lie about anything. The thing he doesn't realize is that no matter if he truly brought peace to the entire world they still would never give it to him. They will not take the chance that he's in the Epstein files since he won't release them.

I don't have a problem with the government getting equity for the money Intel is getting from Biden's chips act. I understand that the shares are now diluted by 9.9%. But doesn't the long term value of those shares increase due to the 9 billion dollars investment?

We saw this type of greed during COVID. The price of construction materials doubled or tripled. The distributors and retailers blamed COVID shutdown but in reality the sawmills only shut down because they had train cars loaded with lumber that the distributors weren't buying.

If something from overseas is taxed 25% the 100% American equivalent (every component made in America) price will be raised 24% by either the manufacturer, distributor, retailer or any combination of them, assuming they cost the same to manufacture.

The problem is Trump and Vance would be exempt from this bill the way it is written. The ban to the president and VP wouldn't take effect until the next president. Rand Paul tried to have it include Trump but failed.

A conservative estimate for Trump's golfing for the 1st year of his presidency will be $104 million. That makes his full term at an estimated $416 million.

All the big retailers are going to slowly increase prices so that it's not a big jump in price from the tariffs. This way they are hoping Trump doesn't notice and go after them
July 21, 2025 at 7:01 PM
He's right if it was only about Trump, Biden would have released it but there're powerful scumbags on both sides that don't want it released. IMO this is a good opportunity to clean both parties out

I honestly believe he's going to be a better Dman than Hague when he gets a couple of years experience in the NHL
July 2, 2025 at 9:47 PM
That's going to be a steal by the time that last year comes around. They need to get Doro and Eichel done then the team is going to be in good shape.

The Vietnamese are going to buy a lot of SUVs with their average yearly salaries of 8k USD

#vgk 's FA is over before it even started. I really didn't want to sit in front of the tv tomorrow wishing for a Marner to VGK announcement. The only other major deal would maybe be a trade for Andersson.
June 30, 2025 at 10:26 PM
#vgk just committed highway robbery. Lauzon = poor man's version of McNabb
Sissons a shutdown 4C
My problem with Hague was he didn't throw the body around as much as he should have for a big man this last year. I can see both Sissons and Roy being moved. They then would have 15 million in cap
June 30, 2025 at 5:39 AM
Worst case scenario they grab Ehlers. Ehlers speed with Eichel would be fun. There's no doubt they are going to do everything they can to get a winger that can help the team's playoff scoring issues.
June 29, 2025 at 8:25 PM
We are talking center value with the cap going up his 6.75 is a steal for a number 2 center. Plus Hertl's type game ages well over time. He doesn't depend on speed and his goals are in tight(doesn't depend on shooting accuracy)
June 28, 2025 at 9:42 PM
Vegas has always valued depth down the center. They have Howden that can step into Roy's spot. Management will not move Karlsson and Hertl's contract is too cheap at 6.75 for a center that scored 32 g and was the missing piece for the PP. They would move Barbashev if they needed cap
June 28, 2025 at 9:32 PM
Puckpedia has Saad signed for 2 million for 1 year. Did he sign? Or are they wrong?
June 27, 2025 at 11:14 PM
I would not count them out on Marner. 5 million for either Dman or Hague eats cap space. Petro is probably done if they are looking for a Dman. That gives them 8.8 from LTIR. If they trade Barby that gives them 13.8 for Marner and a couple of RFA's. Worst case they have to also move Roy.

I was with you until you brought the race card. Trump only cares about the world viewing him as the savior of the world. Narcissists only care about themselves and view everyone inferior to them no matter their race
June 18, 2025 at 1:22 AM
Not surprised he was the best center at either end of the ice for the USA on the 4 nations team. Him and the Tkachuk brothers were a tough line to play against.
June 16, 2025 at 8:24 PM
A line with Ehlers, Eichel and Marner sounds good to me
June 13, 2025 at 8:47 PM
Signing Smith is key for Karlsson's success. He just wasn't as good without Smith. I would be surprised if Barby didn't get moved 1G 1A in the last 18 playoff games is not good for a player making 5 million and getting a lot of time on Eichel's wing
June 11, 2025 at 10:02 PM
Then comes the forwards. I could see 1 or both Roy and Barby depending on if and who they sign. I wasn't sure which between them would be the 1st until I looked at playoff stats. Barby only has 1G 1A in the last 18 playoff games only Kolesar is worse. That's unacceptable for a guy making 5 million
