It's pretty clear Eichel needs a true shooting winger. #VGK management have shown they will be aggressive when improving the team whether it's Marner, Boeser or Ehlers they go after history has shown they will be in the conversation. To make it happen #VegasBorn will have to move some players.

A thought on Marnier. It's very rare a player like him comes available in FA. What if #VGK went all in to sign him with the knowledge that the real cup run starts 2 years from now when 18+ mill comes available. The team would still be in their prime with about 5 years to work with. #VegasBorn

I still believe this #VegasBorn team is better than the #vgk cup team. Injuries didn't help but even with everyone healthy I'm not sure they could have beat Edm. They never reached the intensity level that Edm was playing at. They didn't come close to the intensity of what the cup team played at.

#VGK has been much better on all 4 lines after Cassidy put the lines in the blender. Honestly surprised it took so long to do it. Thought he would have done it at the start of the last game #VegasBorn

The difference between how the 4th & 2nd lines are playing compared to the 1st & 3rd lines is that the 4th & 2nd are getting into the dirty areas and getting multiple chances on rebounds a lot better than the 1st & 3rd lines. They have to get to the net and win the rebounds. #VegasBorn #VGK

#VegasBorn 4th line has easily been the best line for the #VGK this series. The 1st line is missing in action. This is not a recipe for winning the 1st round. Still early in the series but playing on the road could help them focus

I could see Cassidy putting the lines in a blender for the 3rd period. They need to get Eichel into the game. Maybe Doro to the 1st line. Stone to the 3rd and Oloffson to the 2nd. #VGK #VegasBorn

That goal by Boldy was due to bad D by the back checking forwards. Smith and Olofsson both don't pick up Boldy and let him skate easily into scoring a goal. #VGK needs to play better D than that if they want to win this series. #VegasBorn

Really liked Dorofeyev making a couple of passing plays on the PP. It keeps teams guessing. If that was Stone on the receiving end of those passes chances are there's a goal scored. #VegasBorn

I'm guessing Eichel has been injured since the 4 Nations. He has not looked the same as before the tournament. Sure he's had some games he looked good but his overall play hasn't looked right. I assumed that he was just getting worn out but a nagging injury could explain it. #VegasBorn #VGK

I know there are some people that think the #VGK didn't do enough at the trade deadline compared to some of the other teams. Imo this team is better than the cup team. They just need to stay healthy and have a little luck. #VegasBorn

Being a healthy scratch has really helped Olofsson get back to being the player he was at the beginning of the year. Sometimes players just need a wakeup call. He needs a good final push and playoffs if he wants to land a good contract next year. This bodes well for VGK playoff run. #VGK #VegasBorn

Rempal is 4th in the KHL in goals and points with 31 g and 61 pts. Good for him. He only got 21 games in 5 years in the NHL. Can't imagine him not getting another shot at the NHL next year. Maybe a Vegas offseason signing. #VGK #VegasBorn
