Saw a clip last night but watched the whole episode and he's bloody brilliant. Never seen a politician so down to Earth and relatable, cracking great off-the-cuff jokes and speaking in plain, honest, understandable terms, not a fog of PR. How long til the next election?!

They resisted the well-funded tech lobby & shut down proposals to upend copyright law.

My hot take is that even before we get into issues over AI usage, I don't think AI upscales look good. They often introduce more errors than they fix - see those awful Wallace & Gromit 4K Blu-rays - and give the whole thing a weird, oversharp sheen. It is just inventing detail that never existed.
