Always interesting to hear how folks felt about Gen 3 at the time. That was the first Gen I really got into as a kid after not being able to get past Brock in Yellow (iykyk). It wasn’t until I learned about all the cool shit that they added in Gen 2 that wound up being absent in 3 that I got it.
