There are far more advanced Matter smart thermostats out there, but Honeywell X2s has one major advantage in my situation: it has zero learning curve coming from the ancient RTH6350 it replaced and in my situation, that's important. Plus it was $56 shipped.

I just laugh when people get mad at Civilian Class-C shuttles showing up in Picard. The Bell Huey first rolled off the line in 1956 and both military UH-1Y and civilian Bell 412 versions are still in active production. #StarTrek
