This is my horseracing, sports and music account. My escapism from all the dark politics and bad news happening across the world.
I wonder if the chancellor reads the racing post.

These global betting giants are no different to the tech bros. $14 billion in revenue is never enough.

Sent this to a mate last night. What doesn’t break you makes you stronger, or so they say. Well done the Bradstocks good people.

Quiet start to Cheltenham season. Counted just 17 bookmakers in tatts.
Good card today.

Enjoyed this. The Bloodstock world can be a game of smoke and mirrors.

Any minute now, ICE agents are going to come along and take Rory away. Go Rory lad.

I don’t know Julian, that said I never had him down as a socialist. I think he may have stumbled across a global economic problem not unique to horse racing.

The DP World Tour event this weekend at Trump International Aberdeen. The main sponsor a Crypto investment company seems the perfect fit.

Just reading that Connor Brace has retired. He won a conditional jockeys race at Cheltenham on a horse I had a share in, Benny’s Bridge. Lovely lad, his talent deserved more rides. I wish him well.

This is a nothing story. Blatant marketing. Cyclist have used it and promoted it for sometime. They will be wearing Rolex’s in post race interviews soon.

I pick this up at Record Store day a few years ago. The most I’ve ever paid for an album. Almost to good play.

Unexpected trip to Oxford today. Found this wonderful hipster record / coffee shop and an amazing little picture house along Cowley Road. A lovely diverse community of shops with a happy vibe. Off to see the remastered Slade in Flame next month😀

My tracker comments on Gladius. Well obviously not mine but you get my drift.

Incredible puff piece on the Dido Harding in today’s Racing Post. Apparently she had to “work incredibly hard to fund the horses”. No mention of the missing £37 billion for Test and Trace.

Just arrived in Lisbon for a short break. The Metro from the Airport to the City centre. Why are Europeans so much better at public transport?
