But you didn’t make real investments. You are still using Covid relief money for the direct payments and that is just for one year. How can we get more support for the bill you asked for to fund child care regardless of the state budget outcome? Let’s fight for kids like you intended.

Thank you for your support! As an early childhood educator, I would like to remind everybody we make an average of $13.26/hour in Wisconsin. As a provider in my home, it is closer to $5/hour. The relationships we form with children and families build healthy brains. We deserve a living wage.
