I legitimately do not understand how more people are not talking about Hegseth, his white nationalist tattoos, the ongoing military purges, and the expansion of the US' capacity and openly-stated willingness to imprison people in Gitmo and El Salvador.

The president can't declare war by himself; congress has that power.

If there's one thing I've learned as the decades keep coming, is that a lot, no, the majority of people have a very short term memory.

As the US regresses, the United Nations and EU, especially former colonial powers (e.g. 🇬🇧🇫🇷🇪🇸🇵🇹) should address inequities in global mobility for Black people and queer people, who are often trapped in nations full of issues due to imperialism. Brain drain and proximity migration policy is not justice.
