So, my wife is pregnant and has a complication making hers a high risk pregnancy.
She needs to get weekly ultrasounds to make sure everything is okay.
UnitedHealthcare is fucking with us on covering them.

I was told I could get mutiparametric MRI of prostrate to detect/rule out cancer instead of painful biopsy.
But then UnitedHealthcare--the "good" tier plan--reversed and said since I had no symptoms they wouldn't pay. I wasn't sick enough to determine how sick I was.

My ACA plan (at ≈$1400/mo for me + my child) approved the procedure when my PCP referred me, then unapproved it the night before.
Crowdfunding enabled me to have it—and five pre-cancerous lesions were removed.
