The key here is that Foden isn’t a winger. He can play in that formation and role in a different style, but he’s not a Gordon, Bowen, or rashford who runs at defenders and gets by them easily.

Saying that, Foden’s form is poor at the moment. And I’m not convinced rashford is good enough.
