Paramount Has a $1.5 Billion ‘South Park’ Problem
The White House says the show is “fourth-rate” after it showed Trump with “tiny” genitals. The controversy comes just as the FCC has greenlit Paramount’s merger with Skydance and promised to end DEI.

Yup.
I am not feeling the 4th of July this year. It is hard to celebrate America while SCOTUS is honoring a convicted rapist as their king, letting him kidnap people, and build concentration camps. — Does anyone else feel this way?

How did the poor guy mowing your lawn every two weeks become the biggest national security threat, rather than a Defense Secretary posting war plans on Signal?

Never before in the history of this nation has such a large redistribution of income been directed upward, for no reason at all

Didn’t invent it, but he’s quite good at it, I’ll give him that
Donald Trump did not invent authoritarianism, but he permitted it to shout. His reign did not end in 2021. Its logic persists in the laws, judges, slogans, and silence. He normalized cruelty and wore it like armor. The press called it 'controversial.' We call it what it was: an authoritarian grift

"Of course, capital can do nothing without the assistance of labor. All there is of value in the world is the product of labor. The laboring man pays all the expenses. No matter whether taxes are laid on luxuries or on the necessaries of life, labor pays every cent."

I don’t think I’ll ever get over the fact that almost half of the country willingly voted to have tens of thousands of armed thugs terrorize people in the street.

I think we’ve reached a boiling point when it comes to ICE.

Today in Minneapolis, a militarized task force raided the beloved Lake Street taqueria, Las Cuatro Milpas—and the community was not having it.

Agents from ICE, the DEA, FBI, ATF, IRS and HHS rolled up looking like they were ready for war.

Modern technology has allowed all of the worst people to band together and somehow take over the country.

This article is depressing as hell.

my takeaway from this feature is that in a functioning political system there would be televised congressional hearings over the fact that one of the most influential people in the white house is a total maniac www.newyorker.com/magazine/202...

Here's something everybody should be paying attention to: Congressional Republicans are trying to weaken the Affordable Care Act and put millions of people at risk of losing their health care. Call your Senators and tell them we can't let that happen.
Shhh. Republicans are trying to repeal Obamacare again. Sort of.
They’re not branding it an Obamacare repeal this time around, but congressional Republicans are pursuing cuts to programs that are part of the 15-year-old health-care law.
