Yeah I have a player who was peeved when I allowed a third party product in player options, but did not want him to use his own homebrewed subclass thinking it is the same thing. I don’t think people understand the playtesting that goes into player facing options in products.

To call all third-party TTRPG products "homebrew" is dismissive of the massive amount of work, expertise, experience, and collaboration that goes into so many of them. Again, homebrew is awesome, but these are two different things. (3/3)
