I got a bird bath a couple of weeks ago, but still no birds. However, while I was gardening yesterday, my three-year-old son decided to test the water—by dunking his face in it. He then walked away, happily exclaiming how delicious it was. 😂

There’s something pretty magical about seeing a robin out in the wild. That flash of orange-red in the branches, the way they hop around like they own the place—no wonder they’re one of Britain’s favourite birds.

I used to run wild near Symonds Yat at the Forest of Dean as a kid—camping at Biblins, crossing the wobbly bridge, and exploring until I dropped. Coming back with my wife and son was something special. Same view, same magic, just with a little more nostalgia.

I’ve put up a little bird feeder on my kitchen window. Not sure how long it’ll take to get some attention, but I’ve set up a camera next to it in the hopes of capturing some of our feathered friends!
