🥇Yoane Wissa | £35-40m

At 28 he’s older than you’d ideally like for #NUFC’s recruitment profile, Wissa makes SO MUCH sense. A proven EPL goalscorer whose time left to test himself in the UCL is running out. I’m at least going to talk to his agent about his interest in being Isak's backup.

Superb as usual
The 24/25 season was historic for #NUFC. Howe turned a rough summer into our first major domestic 🏆 in 70 years—and UCL qualification.

But success brings expectation. With PSR easing & more games in 25/26, fans & Howe expect investment.

But who to buy? Welcome to my third annual Summer Transfer 🧵

Southampton manager Ivan Juric says he rewatched the Newcastle penalty from the first-half, awarded by VAR, and thinks it was the right decision.

#NUFC Right Wing Transfers:

Data vs. Dennis Wise Scouting Notes - A Battle Royale 🧵

Having been asked a few times for which Right Wingers (position not politics) options I’d like #NUFC to have a look at in January, I thought I’d have a bit of fun with it. So here goes:

Jeez man. Frustrating half, totally on top.

Goal knocked us out of our rhythm, and we’ve started rushing all of the final actions. Gordon should do more with that chance.

Crowd gotta stay in it and help the lads. #nufc

Fully agree that commercial deals should be at fair market value. However fundamentally PSR shouldn’t exist. No other businesses have such treatment. In the US they can all spend to a cap. It’s equal.

Not a good result at the PL meeting for Newcastle. Funny how the 3 clubs that are showing some ambition to grow were on one side.

Shareholder Loans- if they are trying to exempt existing loans they are taking the the piss and define hypocrisy

So the PL are bringing in an exemption which means any shareholder loans to date will not attract any Mv interest in the future… only new loans will. This has got favour with wolves and Everton who want that PSR security. Absolute piss take
