@bruceadams.bsky.social came to Milwaukee to talk about his excellent book, You’re With Stupid. His time at distributors and Touch and Go were discussed, as well as his time with Kranky. Hosted by Lion’s Tooth books, moderated by Michael Carriere, who is also writing a pretty neat book.

Wondering if they might take $1650.00, not sure I could justify anything higher.

It was so good to hang out with and see the Black Heart Procession again after 15 (!) years.

Went up to Door County for the first time this weekend. Tried to shoot a Timelapse of the Milky Way at a dark sky park, realized after over an hour that I hadn’t taken the lens cover off my camera. Heard a Great Horned Owl within a few feet of me, heard a fox screaming in the dark. Got this on my📱:

Just discovered Lou Reed’s ambient drone record “Hudson River Wind Meditations” this morning and I’ll tell you what - it’s a perfect soundtrack for this snow storm.
