It's a change-up, most definitely. 😨 As for WHY...

A studio is a shell. A building. A name tag.

The PEOPLE are the ones who make games good. And we haven’t heard the name of a single employee who is still there, nor have we seen gameplay.

This game took 10+ years because they were busy monetizing GTA V to hell.

I am so, so sorry you have to endure this.

It’s just that, time and again, the show wants to have a point. But you can absolutely feel the presence of execs telling them to rewrite anything that might be fully controversial.

Good show. Great show! But frustrating.

The show copies the VERY famous scene of Punisher telling police “You’re nothing like me”, but 100% of his dialogue about why cops CAN’T be vigilantes is removed. It’s replaced with Punisher saying “You can’t understand my pain”, which… makes it about his grief and not about a cop’s broken promise.

There’s a scene where “the honest people of New York have had enough”, and you see two police officers standing there, implicitly in support and ready to fight back. But it’s so toothless and they never say anything.

Fisk’s “bad apples” are enough to completely patrol New York City during a large event, and we don’t see what the Good Apples do at that time… but… trust us, they’re there?

The good honest police commissioner fights all of this, but doesn’t actually affect the plot at any point at all.

Dialogue explicitly states that Fisk is weaponizing the brutality and cruelty of the NYPD, but it then clarifies that he’s seeking out “just the bad apples”.

Note that there are no Good Cops seen doing anything. Ever. But we’re told they’re there.

He also inspired me to believe I can pull baddies.

Daredevil's greatest power is that he always gets back up. And he helped me believe that I can, too.
