You don't get a lot of songs about British fshion designers. The Dylans did "(Don't Cut Me Down) Mary Quant In Blue" but I want one about Ian Tracksuit, inventor of the sodden joggers.

Like a first draft of Busted, there were some good Dum Dums tracks of which "You Do Something To Me" is probably my favourite. What's yours? Why not tell an ombudsman?

Still probably my favourite song by The Dandy Warhols - even more than the one about the delicious heroin - "Every Day Should Be A Holiday" is now getting a play on noiseboxradio.com If you like that sort of thing.

How many bits has yours got? The Depreciation Guild get us all swooning in a chiptune style with "Parasol Parachute". Just give in to it, mate.

From Germany, Damage Done By Worms are giving the rockabilly treatment to "Vicar In A Tutu" from that increasingly popular genre - Morrissey without Morrissey.

Dubstar just missed the top 40 with "Cathedral Park" in 1997 because everything is horrible. Except us obviously.

The Dead Milkmen's "Punk Rock Girl" up next on "Middle-Aged Teenage Angst", a song you either think its amazing or appalling. Or just alright. But definitely one of those three.

DARTZ! must have noticed at some point that their name when said aloud was the same as a much more successful former act. "Cold Holidays" does not have any syncopated doo wop on it and is all the better for it.

I love Dogs Die In Hot Cars as much as I hate the name. "Modern Woman" is from their only album "Please Describe Yourself" which is an actual pop masterpiece. YES I SAID ACTUAL.

Dweeb's "Scooby Doo" still sounds like a number one hit from a better timeline. Although if it was an alternate world where glam indie got to the top, I'd probably be playing Westlife now instead...shudder....maybe we'll stick with this reality for now.

Absolutely agreed. But the actual best of - "Four Thousand Seven Hundred and Sixty-Six Seconds" does a grand job too. I'd argue much after it doesnt have the same impact at all.

It is on the ALFsplaining feed but might be awkward as a video podcast on some players. It works in audio but John did such a great job with the visuals, it adds another layer of ridiculousness.
