In this photo you can see a single ceramic plaster. It looks like a regular brown plaster. Hand painted and glazed, the piece is a limited edition of 30. The artist made this art from the perspective of his inner child, who grew up not understanding his fathers depression. The trauma informed, adult survivor of abuse is helping the inner child to process the frustration of wanting desperately to help 'heal' or 'fix' his father but nothing worked. In this instance the plaster represents the naivety of the inner child and a lack of understanding of depression, despite it dominating the family home. Benjamin Rostance is a working class fine artist based and born in the U.K. You can buy one of these plasters at his website, it comes framed and includes free U.K Shipping. The art is also priced to help low income buyers have access to fine art. This photo is the same as the first, however it now has a black frame around the plaster and has been hand signed and numbered by the artist.

'Mother, did they drop that bomb?' Is my latest #FineArt print, but also my first ever #ScreenPrint. As an adult survivor of child abuse, i approach my art as the Adult survivor and as my inner child. Here we see mother as creator and destroyer in equil parts. Ed 1/15. DM for purchase details.

Today i got to share one of my films with the MA film students at Nottingham Trent University. It's always nice to see how filmmakers are playing with film and to be in a position to offer feedback too. A very generous session all round and lots to think about.

Romero's movies not only showed the promise of survival in the bleakest of times, he also co-developed some of the best lead male roles in horror cinema history, in collaboration with, #DuaneJones #KenForee #TerryAlexander and #TonyTodd. Rational, calm, collected, diplomatic and resourceful.
