I picked up a drawing tablet a couple weeks back and I am having a BLAST. I last had an old Wacom about 20 years ago that was the size of a business card.
The tech has uhh improved considerably. Not high end by any means, but 16" 2.5K display, plus a nifty little shortcut remote. For like $500!

I've been noodling away at a turn-based tower defense deckbuilder prototype. Each battle, you play cards to build your tower or directly attack the battlefield. Then there's a round of auto-battling as your tower goes to work and the enemies take their actions.

Glad we were able to save some time on this one
I know UI design is cyclical but usually it's just bopping between rounded corners and sharp corners. Dredging up Windows Vista sure is a choice.

Japanese adventure: running a local 10k! I was the only foreigner and supremely jet-lagged but it was a total blast. So glad I pushed out of my comfort zone to sign up and just go for it!

Checking out #DayOfTheDevs up on Moscone West 3F. Played Haste, which is all about nailing that smooth, sliding movement. The game very generously says "Ok!" when I'm deciding not nailing it 😅
