Ummm, that’s supposed to read “second half”. Whiskey may have been consumed during that wet fart of a conclusion of a contest.

That said, Iowa needed to play MUCH better in the half half. The loss is ultimately on them and how they played on both sides of the ball. But how the refs called the game certainly played a part in the final outcome.

Well, to be fair both of the missed facemasking calls were huge. But yes, Iowa needed to be MUCH better in the second half. Can’t remember the last time we’ve been so disappointed in the Hawks in the second half of a football game. Very disappointing on both sides of the ball.

That 3rd & 9 run call was complete horseshit. And the 4th down throw was a terrible idea. Low percentage pass to a less than polished route runner down the field? Garbage decision.
