Tradition- rub Floyd & take a quick shot for luck. Staying responsible, of course.

Roy Hobbs was the greatest fictional baseball player of all time and there will be no debate about it.

Especially today.

Finally got the Dart Swinger cleaned up & gassed up. She’s cruising pretty good. Gotta tighten down the steering though. She’s a bit loose.

Hy-Vee, in the immortal words of Ron Swanson, don’t bother half-assing something. Either whole-ass it or don’t do it at all.

These “Eagles” cookies look terrible. Did you think the Jaguars were somehow playing?

Plymouth’s GTX, like this wonderful 1967 model here, was known as the gentleman’s muscle car. The were highly optioned whereas Road Runners tended to be bare bone racers.

Beautiful 1971 Dodge Demon.

Did Dodge “steal” the design from Plymouth? Yes. Plymouth’s 1970 Duster was a huge hit & Dodge demanded a version of their own.

In return, Plymouth was “gifted” the Scamp, based on the Dart… which was already based on Plymouth’s own old Valiant line.

Twoffer Tuesday! Who doesn’t love a nice pair of Chrysler A Bodies?

Can’t decide which I like better, the green Dodge Dart or the blue Plymouth Duster.

If you’re cold, they’re cold. This 1968 Dodge Dart is cold.

You know what, the “frowny face” Challengers of 1972-74 do not get enough love. This 1972 sad boy is a beautiful girl.

One of only two ever made, this 426 Hemi powered 1970 Plymouth Road Runner convertible is highly sought after.

Teal on a car? No thanks.

Teal on a big ol’ truck, like this 1947 Dodge Power Wagon? Yes please!

Station wagons used to be pretty cool. At least this 1967 Dodge Coronet wagon is.

It’s my (50th) birthday, so I’m posting my favorite vehicle in the fleet for today’s #dailymopar.

Sure, the Citron Yella ‘71 Dart Swinger is the cooler car, but I just love this 1966 Plymouth Valiant Signet.

And no, I didn’t put the Six Pack style hood scoop on it… nor will that ever come off.

The 1970 Plymouth Superbird, here in Alpine White, is highly valuable & collectible, but I’m not sure I’d actually want to own one.
