Wat’ya… We’ve got a healthy population of dingos on the farm, and I couldn’t be happier. They’re filling a keystone position in the ecosystem, which is manifesting itself in very helpfully keeping the fox population low. No sign of them worrying our chickens, pigs or cattle.

Another flock of 500 hens hit the pasture today. Hearing a lot of noise on the small-scale farm internet about “minimum viable scale”… Does anyone think they’ve hit that yet?
