This article shows how much clarity EHRC has given us to excluding people on looks.
Too gay, too bald, too tall, too hairy = harass

Here is clarity of EHRC - too gay, too bald, too tall, too hairy = exclude and point fingers at

that's great, hopefully no more problems from passport office now.

If I were you I would
1.) I would point out specific page in Endo report where it says change of gender is permanent then say this report counts
www.gov.uk/changing-pas...
Then give deed poll/stat declaration + some payslip or bank statement.
2) if they still refuse raise complaint
3) ask Reddit
November 24, 2025 at 3:05 PM
I would try asking r/transgenderuk on Reddit
It's hard for me to advise because I done my passport completely different as EU national, so hard for me to suggest much.
November 24, 2025 at 3:03 PM
yes very possible, my GP charged 100gbp to tick box 3 boxes for GRC report 2 - it was ridiculous
November 22, 2025 at 1:29 PM
If Endo report has that wording, point them to specific page

Looks like they can't be arsed to read it then.

Usually yeah heard GP writting one solves this problem (however some GP will charge you as they consider it private work)

I've been through different process as EU national
November 22, 2025 at 1:28 PM
I contacted them on occasions, but haven't heard back
Think they were too busy with single-sex spaces, this is separate issue
November 22, 2025 at 1:21 PM
Will check them out when I can
November 22, 2025 at 1:20 PM
Probably cause something must say black and white ' x is likely to stay permanently in their acquired/new gender'

It's their requirement.

Does your endo report says anything specific like that?

Most people ask their GP to write something like that
November 22, 2025 at 1:17 PM
It's not just surgery saying this.
It's Department Of Health NI, Business Services Chair and CEO told me that so deffo need to have legals to look over this
November 22, 2025 at 1:10 PM
in your case I think it's their (Passport office) policy to have GP write a letter
www.gov.uk/changing-pas...

Either have to hand over GRC, Birth Cert (only can get one after GRC) or letter from doctor

Are they denying you Gender Dysphoria report?
November 22, 2025 at 1:09 PM
I offered my passport and birth certificate with correct marker and they insist on GRC

Definitely not discriminatory :)
November 22, 2025 at 12:59 PM
I name and shame NHS executives for crappy response
-Claim 'changing sex' is dangerous?
No evidence, no policy/no law - just their claim
Yeah not changing it is also dangerous!
-No law to adjust your gender/sex marker
Yeah apart from GDPR article 5 D and 16

yes please help out if you can - I need urgent help from someone who can help cause I went through whole Ombudsman, Politcian, NHS, GP complaint process - all I have left is suing sadly.
NHS gave bullshit excuses and I have lot of proof
November 22, 2025 at 12:41 PM
Yes, you are in my case correct right now they are asking inappropriately (trying to ask me to prove 'Gender Identity' not even 'Legal Sex'

It's so stupid they wouldn't be asking Gay person to prove their sexual identity is gay by medical and judical method like GRC lol

That's why need legal help
November 22, 2025 at 12:35 PM
or exceptions under section 22(4)

Having my GDPR amended legally to match my legal status on medical records is definitely NOT an exception
November 22, 2025 at 12:32 PM
Sadly they can ask for GRC (it's not illegal just to ask), but you not under any obligation to provide it unless it's in public interest (e.g. courts and police)
November 22, 2025 at 12:29 PM
Meanwhile I am being harassed to 'prove' I identify as woman
When I am legally female with GRC, passport and birth certificate
November 22, 2025 at 11:25 AM
It doesn't work in practice, let me know if anyone can help
me advise legally what to do
