Good picture books possess a graceful, subtle complexity that often exceeds longer books and is quite at odds with the habits of mind the president displays. I don’t think he could actually truly read a long prose book anymore, and I am certain he couldn’t read a picture book well.

I’m just saying… all those who are making the joke that the $25 million for a 47 library would be filled with picture books is an insult to picture books.
