My black cat is also waiting for me in Ann Arbor. I miss her dearly but I always love my trips out east

Me and my moped in the back of my friend's car in a hotel parking lot in Durand. This about sums it up for me 😭

Here's a good controversy for you, one town over from where I grew up.

Italian tribute painted over on Newton, Massachusetts street, outraging neighbors
For 90 years, the red, white, and green lines painted on Adams Street in Newton have been a symbol of Italian heritage.

Won't forget this gem from Pizza Bob's anytime soon. I did indeed email Dharma to let her know that I love the introduction of protected bike lanes here.

Are you suggesting new bathrooms be built? Or that trans women be banned from... half of women's bathrooms? I get that the language stops just short of a ban in theory, but I am still struggling to imagine a solution that doesn't involve banning trans women from bathrooms.

The only way to "offer" cis-only women's bathrooms is by banning trans people from them.

Yeah as a trans person I can't really afford to not know that railroad cops are the real deal

It would be really hard to set something like this up, but it would be so beneficial to our community if we did. It's a ton of work for an individual to build something from the ground up, but if we can help each other out we can make contributing easier for everyone.

The written language lobby has gone too far!

I'm voting no because the library needs to learn to stay in its lane

Thanks for introducing me to this bit of lore

Why not both?

Reddit is a decent source of news and whatnot, but the anonymity spoils a lot of good discussions I think. I appreciate the space on here for being able to talk about this stuff with other locals.

I'm voting no because early voting was held at the library branches. Obvious conspiracy.

Oh then yeah that's weird. Are they even allowed to redevelop it at all? I would hate to see this spot sit vacant due to high rent like so many others.
