My kitten wanted to be picked up during the last 10 minutes of my voice lesson. He was a good little boy in my arms while I was singing. I tend to get in my head during my lessons so he was actually a good distraction.

I completed a grant writing course through my library today! I've started and dropped it so many times, but I'm so proud of finally finishing it and all that I've learned.
It's all part of the larger plan I have for life and there are a lot of steps involved but we're going!

Can you imagine how unstoppable I would be if I could spend my day working on shit I actually care about? I would be so much better in my desired field, at least more confident and *gasp* might be able to make a living on my art.

Grief shows up at the strangest times. When it does, it sometimes sounds like glass breaking - sharp, loud, and unexpected. Demanding to be seen and dealt with immediately.

It was a great experience in the theatre. It was an absolutely beautiful movie and I'm finding myself thinking about it more and more since we saw it. I can't wait to see it again and really solidify my opinion on it

My sweet kitty crossed over the rainbow bridge on Friday and today is very hard for me. We had 10 sweet years together and I wish we had so many more.
