I do love riding but lately I’ve been enjoying getting out for some hikes here in the Pyrenees. These mountains are energising.

Part two of our Pyrenees crossing is now out and available. Been great to relive this journey. Part two sees us start with taking on the Tourmalet and then follows is all the way to the Ariège. Love those mountains - even in the clouds a magic place to be. #cycling #adventure #pyrenees

It was the toughest day of our Raid - approached via the Route de Corniche so Marmare and Chioula first. No lunch to be found other than an overpriced crepe at the top of Chioula. Broken by the time we rolled into camp from Pailheres - then the next morning woke up to a toad under the ground sheet!

That’s what it looks like!!! Was a complete white out when I climbed it during our raid traverse! Made for an eerh experience…descending straight into a thunderstorm!

That would have been incredible! I’ve got big plans to do some camping up in the high mountains. Such an energising place to be.

The mountains. They’re always the place I feel most happy. Something about how they never cease to make me feel in awe of nature. Cycling across the Pyrenees is still my most favourite bike adventure I’ve taken. With a loaded bike I was slow, but so SO happy! #adventure #cycling

A 15month bike adventure from Germany to Australia. That’s what Madeline Hoffmann did - but her story is so much more than just the physical act of cycling through 23 countries. I especially loved her insights on mindset. A pleasure to feature her for our milestone 100th episode of Seek Travel Ride.

Adventurer Rob MacLennan shared what ended up being quite a monumental day cycling through the Namib desert. Just 1 day out of the 199 from his journey from London to Capetown. Desert foxes, broken spokes, 47C and then this happened…sky magic like no other. #bikepacking #adventure

Hey great are mini adventures! Here’s a pic from one of mine this year. Up to Gavarnie which is on the border with France and Spain. Best sunrise views ever

I can really relate to this - often the first week is the hardest but once you get into a rhythm- bike travel can become so addictive! #bikepacking #cyetouring

I host and produce a podcast interviewing people who take big adventures on their bikes…which makes it particularly hard when I don’t get the chance to take my own! Just managed some small ‘mini adventures’ this summer but looking forward to some longer ones next year.
