I'm a life-long Chicagoan. Watching videos of what the American government is doing to our city, attacking our people...it's very uncomfortable. Hurts. The government is shutdown, over healthcare, but ICE and DHS are in full force attacking the people like it's war time. Unfathomable.

I sure do hope that Iran means that they hold the current administration responsible. Leave us Blue areas out of it. This is not our circus.

While it's going to be painful to watch the effects of the Republican tax bill go into effect, it's necessary for the R voters to experience the consequences of their brainwashed choices. Turn off Fox News and learn something, then vote smarter.

I'm not gonna lie. Seeing so many people in liberal urban areas and small red towns out there peacefully protesting is giving me hopeful, positive vibes.

Crockett: "Down in Alabama, who's broke. Down in Louisiana, who's broke. I can go through pretty much the entire south and tell you that they're broke and rely on a lot of welfare from the government. To be perfectly honest, it is tax dollars from these big blue states...we're in the find out phase"

It is going to be an exhausting four years but I was at an event Saturday in Chicago where some 200 people showed up ready to take action and fight back. That's reassuring. It's a long game to save democracy so let's all pace ourselves.

Trying this as a way to scroll for interesting news. I never liked the Twitter dumpster and Suck seems interested in flushing FB further down the toilet so it's a good opportunity for another company to return to the good aspects of social media.
