This program requires 10 yrs of service and incentivizes people to work for nonprofits, schools, city, county and state programs even though they earn less pay. Cutting those program will reduce the pool of people who can afford to keep doing this good work!
Trump plans to sign an executive order barring certain student loan borrowers from eligibility for Public Service Loan Forgiveness. This popular federal program forgives a portion of student debt for individuals who work in government or qualifying nonprofit jobs for ten years.

The GOP passed a budget resolution last night that will gut Medicaid, SNAP, and other vital programs — as 60% of Americans live paycheck to paycheck.

Why? To finance tax cuts for the top 1%.

We have socialism in this country for the rich, harsh capitalism for everyone else.

I just watched “Inequality For All,” a documentary that’s been on my list since it came out in 2013. In it, Robert Reich predicted our current threat to democracy. We all need to watch/rewatch this movie to understand how we got here and what has to change.

I am hoping for healing and relearning who I am in 2025. I start my own EMDR sessions next week and am a little terrified of what I will uncover, but I am also ready to not feel this way anymore.

The 2nd half of 2025 was brutal for me. The year culminated with me feeling more alone and more broken than ever. I now live in a year where Tim has never existed. A shattering realization that only occurred to me a few minutes before midnight NYE.
