Last year my hometown got hit with the worst tornado in living memory. Its scars will be seen in NWA for years to come. But hey this seems like a great time to fire all those competent meteorologists at NOAA.

Way back in the simple times of the early 2ks I saw a RaidMax case at Circuit City. That thing changed my entire view on PCs, No longer did they have to be boring black boxes. I was so excited to find the new old stock Blackstorm at a thrift store.

Rescued a 2012 MacBook Air with @system76.bsky.social amazing PopOS. It’s crazy what Linux can do even on older hardware. And of course it needed a tux sticker!

Sitting here at my desk at work staring at this old floppy I hung up and it occurred to me: man it would be funny to send these with an event invite with the date and time on the label as a “save” the date insert.

Selling this weird old beast for a friend. Its a great idea (I think) but they way Logitech went about it is decidedly weird. A little googling and man turns out I might be in the minority that wants haptics in mice.

Of all the computers I’ve ever owned, this little mid 2009 MacBook has probably been one of the most consistently useful. It just doesn’t quit. I had to deal with some malware on a family members computer and my trusty E6430 finally died but this little Mac + TestDisk saved the day!
