I’ve always felt it had possibility, wet scrubby habitat similar to that favoured out east but to find two in four years on a 150metre stretch of river is just bonkers. I think they’re overlooked, though I’ve obs had a dump. 2 YBW, 2 Sibe Chiff and Firecrest.

Absolutely! Been watching two today on my Leicester patch. They go absolutely mental at Sibe playback, wing flicking and bombing like mini skuas. Love em!

Unbelievable. Two Sibe Chiffs and the Dusky on the patch, we could really do with a county Hume’s!

More obliging 😳… Ace!

Mega mate, I’ve also been in the ‘am I hallucinating phase’ on the patch in Leicester but the east coast has certainly been delivering!

I like that one, congrats.

Thanks Chris. Still analysing the absurdity!

That’s brilliant Chris, these wanderers give a smidgen of hope.

Thanks Tim. It’s Bonkers really, both county records both self found on the patch in the middle of England. 🤷🏼‍♂️
Good habitat though!

Or are there two?

Quality gear but overpriced, Revolution Race equivalent at a third and probably more environmentally friendly.
A crass stunt but the damage done miniscule compared with the upcoming firework season here in the Uk for example.
