I hope not! I know B&N is expanding this year, which is a good sign for physical books. Physical media is becoming even more important in this political climate. I’ve been using ThriftBooks and my local bookstore to ensure I have copies of popular banned books.

They announced last year they’d only sell books during holiday season beginning in 2025, because the labor required to stock the books year round was too much.

I was not expecting it, so I feel like it hit me even harder with the sobs.
