The one-two punch of David Byrne/St Vincent/Arcade Fire/Preservation Hall Jazz Band playing Heroes and Wake Up at the SNL 50th concert is just the life-affirming thing I needed to watch this morning. Not up on YouTube yet but it's about 2 hours into the Peacock stream.

The one-two punch of David Byrne/St Vincent/Arcade Fire/Preservation Hall Jazz Band playing Heroes and Wake Up at the SNL 50th concert is just the life-affirming thing I needed to watch this morning. Not up on YouTube yet but it's about 2 hours into the Peacock stream.
My favorite 2.5 year old just informed me that his favorite song is Blinded By The Light and judging from his reaction when I played it, he was not lying.

My 2.5yo faux-godson (if we weren’t all atheist/agnostic) requested Satellite Of Love for a bedtime song last night and said he remembers me singing it when he was a baby. Which, in memory science, seems unlikely but it was cute as hell.

Finally watched the 2022 Bowie doc Moonage Daydream yesterday, and after 5 full minutes of just sound (no vision), realized it was a playback error and not just the director being super fucking dramatic.
