I try to avoid people who want to be miserable, and seek out any way to complain or treat others like crap.
I don’t mind people who actually want to find positive stuff and are just sad. I can relate to that.

The amount of deep and unconditional kindness and support I have received from the #TTRPGCommunity has been insane this year. I’ve been brought to tears on atleast 4 occasions.
I really can’t wait to pay it forward when I am able.

I like the IDEA of vine coming back… but 6 seconds videos in practice post-TikTok may be a hard one.

Hit my first GM nightmare scenario in Daggerheart with the final boss for a learning campaign… I went into the fight with full fear which was great, until they only rolled 4 times with fear in over an hour and a half. They just began walloping on me and then began to bully the NPC to death.

Idk. Feels like Moonbeam is taking the money they raised and running. Hope that’s not the case and they gave a solid try. But it’s kind of suspicious that it didn’t even last a year.

I have to be so cognizant of when I am in bubbles and not be overly influenced by them. I let people dictate my thinking for years telling me what to like and what not to like, how to feel, and what to believe.
It’s ok for someone to like a thing you don’t like. There’s no reason to be elitist.

Remember, community means participation and giving as much as receiving.
It is easy to feel like you don’t belong or that no one likes you if you isolate from community, but those feeling go away when you put yourself out there, make and effort by showing up.
And in our case, playing games!

I find that the more a TTRPG allows me to “play” alongside my players, the more memorable it will be for me.
Something about it allows me to see it the same way they do, and to build those memories.

Most of the internet being housed by one server provider (Amazon’s AWS) makes me realize how realistic Cyberpunk was when they had to put up the black wall to contain rogue AI and basically cut the world off from the internet in the process

A tree fell on our shed during the storm the other night I guess, no damage, but it’s coming from the neighbors yard… should I have their landlord take care of it, or should I? Like… what’s the etiquette here? 3/4 of the tree is still in their overgrown yard.
