Entertain with water! Tub or shower with toys or plastic kitchen things (dishes, measuring cups, large spoons, etc). A dishpan, even. Water always works.

After years of disability, I recently & finally, got a parking placard. It's been pretty much useless. All the spots are consistently taken. There will be *maybe* one or two signs/stickers in a row of cars. It's been pretty disheartening.

Feeling this extra hard today. What I wish people knew was that we don't want sympathy, but some empathy would sure be nice.

We are asking people to mask, at least sometimes. To lower overall spread of disease, which amplifies existing oppression.

If you are unwilling to mask, then just be honest with yourself and others that you won't do it.
