Just been in for what I thought was just to have my blood pressure done, and turned out to be that plus blood tests, an ECG, and had to give a urine sample, so that was fun 🙃

My doctor has sent me a letter because they've been trying to phone me for nearly a month about my blood pressure. Like I'm going to answer a random phone call, why can't they just send an email or app notification? 🤦♂️

New Years hits different when every year is just as bad as the previous one. Not sure how 2025 can be worse than 2024, but I'm sure I'll find out soon enough! 🙃

Specifically waited in on an Amazon delivery for my husband's Xmas presents and the driver just put the package through the letter box of my neighbour who is away for a month. 😑

Equaldex, a global database tracking LGBTQ+ rights, has been threatened with a ban in Russia. The government has demanded that content that “promotes LGBT relationships” be removed within 24 hours. If Equaldex does not comply — which it of course will not — it will be blocked.

I’m exhausted with how corporations have so normalised stealing our data that we can no longer even do things on our own computers
Wish I didn't get rid of all my art supplies. I had some really nice sketchbooks and now I can't remember where I got them from because it's been *checks notes* over 20 years.

Isn't everybody tired of companies lying about advertising? If we all are why is nothing being done about it? Examples: YouTube's "fewer ads for this long video" and "watch the next ad for fewer interruptions later", and Spotify's "enjoy the next 30 minutes of uninterrupted listening". Infuriating.
